QUERY BOX
Enter your query in the search box and click Search- Field code and = sign must be written in front of search words, and parentheses must be written around the search word(s). e.g. ALL=(migration). See list of field codes for searching to the right of the help text. You can apply the same field code to multiple words by putting them within the same parentheses. e.g. ALL=(arctic ice)
- Multiple search statements must be connected with the Boolean operators AND, OR, NOT. They must be written in uppercase. e.g. ALL=("climate change") AND ABS=(arctic). When searching with the same field code for multiple words connected by OR, you can save space by writing all the search words within one parenthesis. e.g. ALL=(water OR ocean)
- Multiple field codes can be searched in the same query. e.g. ALL=(bird*) AND ABS=(egg*)
- When a query contains more than one of the three Boolean operators, use additional parentheses to control the order of execution. e.g. (DAF=("aarhus university") NOT GAF=("lund university")) AND (ALL=("climate change"))
- If you want to search an exact phrase - Type field code=("water pollution")
- If you want to include even more word endings - type field code=(pollut*)
- Search words are not distinguished between upper- and lowercase
- When you change something, click Search to update the search
